2017: Diversified program for the seventh edition of "Economic New Year" in the Quebec City region

Ushering in 2017, Quebec City's Economic New Year (Rentrée Économique) will bring together a roster of renowned experts who will discuss the economic outlook and related issues for 2017. Organized by Québec International, the Quebec City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIQ), the Lévis Chamber of Commerce (CCL), the Quebec Association of Economists (ASDEQ/Quebec City chapter) and the Quebec Financial Circle (CFQ), the program of activities for the seventh edition of this event will run from January 17 to February 2.

January 17: Quebec City 2017 – Economic and Political Outlook

The Quebec City Chamber of Commerce and Industry invites the business community to take part in its annual Economic and Political Outlook. Kicking off the New Year, an expert panel will provide an overview of emerging trends across the region. The moderator will be Pierre Jobin, Editor-in-Chief at TVA News. The guest panellists will be:

January 18: 2017 Economic Day

February 2: International Outlook 2017 – Performing in a Shifting Economic Climate

Québec International, Export Development Canada and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), in association with the Quebec Financial Circle, are proud to be associated with International Outlook 2017. Featuring high-level activities, guest speakers and panellists, this third edition will focus primarily on international issues that could influence business operations for CEOs in the Greater Quebec City region in 2017. The Federal Minister of International Trade, the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, will cap off the event with a luncheon conference.
